Have you ever wondered how communication is enabled between the foreign population and the service providers at public institutions such as courts, police stations, hospitals and schools? Are you curious about the job of interpreters and translators working in this field? Would you like to know if you could work as a public service interpreter or translator yourself? The FITISPos and FITISPos e-learning research groups of the University of Alcalá have designed a series of introductory MOOC courses* about Public Service Interpreting and Translation for you to get immersed in this fascinating world.
