Capacity building in Cuba

Since 2017 DG Interpretation has cooperated with Cuba in the field of conference interpreter training. The cooperation contributes to capacity building through the training of interpreters and training of trainers. It promotes high quality interpretation and has to be seen in the broader context of the development of EU-Cuba relations.
DG Interpretation’s partner is the "Equipo de Servicios de Traductores e Intérpretes" (ESTI), the translation and interpreting service of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign affairs.
