My Speech Repository and My Collections

My Speech Repository

In Speech Repository 2.0 everyone can have access to a collection of streamed speeches. Moreover, for our partner universities and international organisations, staff and freelance interpreters working for the EU institutions, DG Interpretation created My Speech Repository, a restricted part with additional functionalities.

My Speech Repository allows users to interact with each other by sending invitations to record interpretations of speeches from My Speech Repository. This is possible thanks to the recording tool SCICrec. With SCICrec, users can listen to the original speech and the recording at the same time through two audio channels. They can also share the file with other users and ask them for feedback.

Hereunder you will find two promotional videos.

The first one is a tutorial, which explains step by step how to use My Speech Repository and SCICrec. Click here to watch it.

The second one gathers three points of view of young graduates on the use of My Speech Repository. Click here to watch it.

My Collections

My Collections is a new feature within My Speech Repository. This section allows universities and organisations, with access to My Speech Repository and with DG Interpretation's approval, to create their own private speech banks whilst keeping all My Speech Repository functionalities.

You can write us to the following email address SCIC-Speech-Repository@ec.europa.eu if you wish to start your own collection.
