Biography
After ten years as freelance interpreter/translator, I am now Senior assistant professor at the Department of Interpreting and Translation of the University of Bologna (Italy), where I teach French-Italian conference and dialogue interpreting. My research interests include interpreting in healthcare, interpreter training, transcription, and conversation analysis. I have published papers in books (John Benjamins, Peter Lang, Lambert-Lucas, L’Harmattan) and international journals (Interpreting, Meta, Intralinea, ELA, Langage & Société), I am author of L’interprétation de dialogue en milieu médical: Du jeu de rôle à l’exercice d’une responsabilité (Aracne, 2015), and in collaboration with Letizia Cirillo I have edited the volume Teaching Dialogue Interpreting. Research-based proposals for higher education (John Benjamins, 2017).
